Scope and Content Note

Minutes and proceedings, yearbooks, directories, and related material pertaining to the Arkansas Missionary Baptists and to related Baptist groups for the period. The collection is divided into series dealing with congregations, district, state-wide, and national associations of: Missionary Baptists in Arkansas; Missionary Baptists in states other than Arkansas, and other Baptist church groups both within and without Arkansas. Included in the latter category are the Landmark Missionary Baptists and those organizations affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.

The Arkansas Missionary Baptist Records were donated to Special Collections by Russell P. Baker of Glenwood, Arkansas, in 1974; and by Professor Lloyd O. Warren, Department of Entomology, University of Arkansas, in 1974.
