Biographical Note

Samuel E. Rogers was born January 28, 1834 at Pendleton Court House, British Columbia. His family moved to Arkansas in 1851, having already begun practicing medicine whilst living in Georgia. In addition to his medical practice in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, he operated a sizeable farm there.
