The collection includes scrapbooks, photographs, meeting minutes, member rosters, newsletters, newspaper clippings, and other materials documenting the activities of the Elkins Extension Homemakers Club of Washington County. Other groups documented include the Washington County Extension Homemakers Council (the parent organization for the Elkins EHC Club), and two other Elkins community groups, the Sunshine Club and the Elkins Women’s Club.

Box 1, Scrapbook 1 contains clippings, meeting notes, and photographs documenting the Elkins Extension Homemakers Club's activities. Included are images of the Elkins Community Church, a 1979 Christmas dinner, and Club members Pearl O'Neal, Ruth Cowan, Lucretia Cunningham, Malak Stokenbury, Deloris Craun, and Anna Wendt.

Box 1, Scrapbook 2, arranged chronologically, includes meeting notes, annual member rosters, Washington County Fair ribbons, correspondence, and photographs documenting the Elkins Home Demonstration Club's activities. Images include photographs of the Elkins Community Church, a picnic at Cherry Bend, an April 1958 family night, and members Mrs. Wade Barrow and Mrs. Clyde Thomas at a 1960 family dinner night.

Box 1, Scrapbook 3 includes clippings, brochures, correspondence, and photographs documenting the Elkins Extension Homemakers Club's activities. Photographs include images of a June 1999 dinner at the Hog City Diner with Ellen Atha, Deloris Craun, Janet Williams, Helen Lewis, Geraldine Bond, and Pearl O'Neal; a July 1999 lunch at the Otis Zark restaurant at Terra Studios attended by Ruth Cordell, Virginia Chester, and Louise Carter, among others; and photographs of a May 1999 event.

The Sunshine Club ledger contains meeting minutes, member rosters, and budgets for the Sunshine Club of Elkins, Arkansas.
