Pen and ink illustration by Bert Hanor of the 1884 gambling feud between S.A. Doran and Frank Flynn in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The drawing was printed in the 1973 issue of The Record, published by the Hot Springs, Garland County Historical Society.

Biographical Note

The illustration depicts the gunfight between two "gambling factions" in Hot Springs, the Flynns and Dorans. Each group was led by the owner of gambling establishments in the Hot Springs area. In the fight, three men were killed and three more were injured.
