Acquisition Information
The U.S. War Relocation Authority, Jerome Relocation Center Records were donated to the Special Collections Department by William Oren Melton and Mary White Melton of Jonesboro, Arkansas, in November, 1982.
Processing Information
Processed by Ellen Shipley; completed in October 1983. Image descriptions in quotations are transcriptions of original image captions.
Finding aid language was updated by Joshua Youngblood and Katrina Windon in August 2022 as part of a project to update outdated or harmful description about the forced removal and incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II.
