Biographical Note

Joseph Leo Mankiewicz was an American screenwriter, director, and producer and multiple time Oscar and Academy Award winner. Alice in Wonderland was a film adaptation of the novels of Lewis Carroll released in 1933 and featuring an all-star cast and was considered a flop at the box office.
