Biographical Note
Sarah Kathalane Baxter McCool was born February 6, 1917, to Jule T. and Mae Johnson. She passed away September 12, 1989.
JoAnn Baxter Zeisel was born September 9, 1934 to Sarah Kathalane and J. W. Baxter. She passed away June 22, 1995.

The Joann Baxter Zeisel and Sarah Kathalane Baxter McCool Postcard Collection was collected by Zeisel and McCool. It was donated to Special Collections by Colin S. Knowles, grandson of Zeisel and great-grandson of McCool, and by his mother, Catherine Knowles.
