Biographical Note

Thaddeus H. Caraway (1871-1931) was an Arkansas politician who served as a U. S. Representative from 1913-1921 and as a U. S. Senator from 1921-1931. His widow, Hattie Caraway, filled his seat upon his death, and was then re-elected in her own right.
