Biographical Note

Cornelia D. Stephenson Howard was from Bentonville, AR and attended the University of Arkansas from 1945-1948. Howard graduated from the university with a degree in business administration. During her time at the University, Howard lived in Carnall Hall, and she participated in a group called the U-ARK Girls who was known for their personality and clever singing composition and harmony. The photographs in the collection were taken for Professor Lemke’s journalism class.

Acquisition Information

The Cornelia Howard University of Arkansas Memorabilia Records were donated to Special Collections, University of Arkansas Libraries in 2016 through University of Arkansas Office of University Development.
