Memorials, reports and other printed documents pertaining to efforts of the Choctaw Nation to obtain monies awarded it under various treaties with the United States, principally those of 1830 and 1859. Most of the documents bear the printed signature of Choctaw delegate Peter P. Pitchlynn.

Biographical Note

Peter Perkins Pitchlynn (January 30, 1806 – January 17, 1881) was a Choctaw leader who served as the primary tribal leader from 1864-1866 and served as a Choctaw Delegate in Washington, D. C.
