Biographical Note
Conaly Bedell graduated from Fort Smith Junior College (now the University of Arkansas--Fort Smith), and later earned a bachelor's degree in jouranlism from the University of Tulsa. He served on the board of trustees for Westark Community College (as UAFS was then known) for 18 years, and later on the UAFS Alumni Advisory Council. Bedell has worked in investment firms and as a journalist, and is currently an associate with Jefferson Waterman International.

The Conaly Bedell "The Terror in Fayetteville" Typescript was donated to the Special Collections Department by Conaly Bedell of Fort Smith, Arkansas, in July 1966.
