Biographical Note
This collection contains research files and article reprints pertaining to nutrition, particularly vitamin deficiencies. Most of the materials pertain directly to Barnett Sure and Margaret Elizabeth Smith. Sure was a professor in agricultural chemistry from 1920-51 and co-discovered vitamin E. Margaret Elizabeth Smith was a faculty member in home economics from 1927-1937.
