Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series:

This subseries contains seven folders of correspondence, photographs, and newspaper clippings concerning exhibits, presentations, and competitions. Correspondence concerns the use of photographs, plans, slides, and models in exhibits and presentations; correspondence pertains to, and participation in same; and Stone's participation as judge for various architectural awards, as well as invitations to speak at conventions, Board of Trade, The Architectural League of New York, The American Institute of Architects, The Museum of Modern Art, Architectural Forum, Progressive Architecture, Interiors, Fortune, and House & Garden. Other subjects include: The American Institute of Architects 1962 Honor Awards, and the United States Exhibit, TheVIII Pan American Congress of Architects, Mexico City, October, 1952. Folder l contains photographs labeled "Yale Exhibit 1941" and a group of photographs of Stone, along with other noted architects, judging entries in a contest sponsored by Owens-Illinois Glass Co. for the purpose of finding new uses for glass blocks.
