This subseries contains mostly informal oral interviews and conversations taped by the Cuban refugees at Ft. Chaffee. Included is a section of popular Cuban anecdotes featuring "Pepito" (the popular folk hero) and a short interview with Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton. 5 cassettes.

Conditions Governing Access
Access to master cassette tapes is restricted for preservation reasons. Researchers should consult user copies in User Cassette Box 2.
Existence and Location of Copies
Tapes were digitized by the University of Arkansas Libraries Multimedia Services on February 16, 2022; mp3 access copies are available in the Reading Room. In addition, access copies of the audiocassette tapes are in Box 2.
