Scope and Contents

In the course of producing "Fulbright: 30 Years", Barnes interviewed several individuals who knew J. William Fulbright. These transcripts are taken from the tapes of those interviews located in Box 2 of this collection. Interviewees include Henry Kissinger; Dean Rusk; Senate Minority Leader Hugh Scott (R-PA); journalist Marvin Kalb; Arkansas Governor Dale Bumpers; Fulbright staff member Lee Williams; and J. William Fulbright. The markings on the transcripts were made by Jeanie Wyant, who worked for Special Collections in the 1970s and checked the accuracy of the transcripts. Also included in this folder is the transcript of a Channel 11, Little Rock interview with Fulbright from May 5, 1974, the interviewer is not specified.
