Beginning with those prior to the establishment of NAFSA in 1948 and continuing through the 1979 conference, the files follow the same pattern each year, although not all file titles may be available for any given year. These titles include: admissions, attendance, community sessions, Association of Teachers of English as a Second Language (ATESL) sessions, evaluations, exhibits, field service programs, finances, government liaison committee, hotel, kits, mailings, national chairman, newcomers, papers, personnel registry, programs, publicity, registration, reports, resolutions, speakers, workshop leaders, and many more depending on the particular conference year. The alphabetically-ordered files have been arranged by the year of the meeting.
