The Orville Hall, Sr. Papers comprise papers relating to his military service, education, and employment, as well as materials from the travels of Orville and his wife, Jane Haigh Hall.

The collection includes personal papers, correspondence, family photographs, education and professional work, vitae, and personal writings/publications, as well as papers relating to Hall’s involvement with the Fayetteville Lions Club. In addition the collection contains materials concerning his involvement with the military, most importantly the proceedings from the case concerning his retirement benefits and a large collection of World War II military manuals on varying topics.
