This series includes audio and video tapes, as well as two sets of cards relating to them, the original index created for the AAPC and program cards from the "Behind the News" show. The collection includes both cassette and reel-to-reel tapes. The size and kinds of tapes determined the classification format originally used in the Archives and index; the classification format has been retained in this collection. Information in the comprehensive index located in the appendices supersedes the original AAPC card index. A few tapes referred to in the original card index were not included in the collection when it was received by Special Collections.
